Woman's Body Dumped in a Ditch in Plattekill
Three people are under arrest, state police said.

A woman's body was found in a ditch on New Unionville Road in Plattekill at 7 a.m. Feb. 26.
A day later, New York State Police arrested Angel Delgado Jr., Kristen A. Green and Lauren A. Romano, all residents of Newburgh, for Concealment of a Human Corpse (a class E felony) and Conspiracy in the Sixth Degree (a class B misdemeanor).
After a thorough investigation conducted by the Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, Computer Crimes Unit and the New York State Intelligence Center, the deceased female was identified as Alexis Scanlon, 28, from Newburgh.

Police say they discovered that Scanlon died Feb. 25 while at Delgado's residence in Newburgh.Â
Delgado, 44, Romano, 33, and Green, 41, were arrested Feb. 27 and arraigned in the Town of Plattekill Court. All three were subsequently sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

The City of Newburgh Police Department also assisted with the investigation and the investigation is still ongoing.
