Women Invited to Laugh with Comedian Carol Leifer
Women's Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Rockland brings Carol Leifer to the Rockleigh on May 14.
Women’s Philanthropy, a division of The Jewish Federation of Rockland County, will host a spring outreach and fundraising event featuring Carol Leifer at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, New Jersey on Thursday, May 14.
Carol Leifer is a comedian, writer and actress whose career began in the 1970s when she performed stand-up comedy in college. She is a three-time Emmy nominee and a writer/producer known for her work on Seinfeld, Saturday Night Live, The Larry Sanders Show and the Academy Awards. To promote her bestselling book from Random House, When you Lie About Your Age, The Terrorists Win, Leifer appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and Real Time with Bill Maher and was heard on The Howard Stern Show and Fresh Air with Terry Gross. In April 2014, Leifer released her second book, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Crying.
According to Diane Sloyer, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Rockland County, “We are thrilled that Carol will be the guest speaker at our annual women’s philanthropy event. Our attendees are in for a real treat and will no doubt be laughing out loud at Carol’s special brand of comedy.”

The event with Carol Leifer on May 14 begins with a private meet-and-greet at 6:00 PM where attendees can have their picture taken with the popular comedian.
