Workshop for Families and High School Students with Disabilities
Transitions will be the topic of this seminar Dec. 10 in West Nyack.
Students and parents can learn about all the services available through ACCES-VR: Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation at a workshop Dec. 10.
At the event, offered jointly by Rockland BOCES and the Rockland Transition Consortium:
- Learn about the various services ACCES-VR can provide
- Get a sense of how ACCES-VR eligibility determinations are made
- Learn the difference between “school-based disability” and “work-based disability”
This workshop will be held from 7-9 p.m. at the Rockland BOCES Conference Center, Bldg #10, 65 Parrott Road, West Nyack.
