NEW CITY, NY — As the new year begins, our local officials are still busy conducting the public's business in plain sight.

  • Zoning Board of Appeals, 7 p.m. Monday in Town Hall. The agenda includes an appeal by Citadelle Realty Group of the decision by the town building inspector to withhold a building permit for a proposed structure at 1 Cindy Lane in the hamlet of Central Nyack.

  • Planning Board, 7 p.m. Wednesday in Town Hall
  • Board of Education, 8 p.m. Thursday, Clarkstown High School South
