$2,500 In Old Navy Shorts Stolen In New Hyde Park, Police Say
Police say the thieves took off in a Jeep bearing Maryland license plates.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY — Police are asking for the public's help in finding two men who they say stole $2,500 worth of shorts from an Old Navy store in New Hyde Park.
The duo walked into the store around 8:39 p.m. on July 9 and worked together to steal the clothes, Nassau County police said. They drove off in a blue, late model Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing Maryland license plates.
One of the suspects can be seen wearing a white sleeveless shirt with dark pants. The other was wearing a red baseball cap with a dark striped shirt and dark pants.
