BELMONT PARK, NY — Long Island soccer fans will have the chance to take in a game without taking a hit to their wallet this summer, as the UBS Arena holds a FIFA World Cup watch-along coinciding with the U.S. men's soccer team's first match of the tournament on June 19.
Announced this week, doors will open at 1 p.m. with a 3 p.m. kickoff time for the matchup between the U.S. and Australia, with a second game following in the evening between Brazil and Haiti. Doors for that game will open at 7 p.m., with a kickoff at 9 p.m.
Tickets are already available, with the lowest going for $8.50 before taxes and fees.
