• LI Man Pleads Guilty In DWI Hit-And-Run That Killed Custodian: NCDA (patch.com) — New Hyde Park residents are learning that 34-year-old local resident Rajvir Bharaj has pleaded guilty to manslaughter, assault, DWI, and leaving the scene in a 2025 Lake Success crash that killed custodian Lidia Rivera. Prosecutors say he struck her at high speed after drinking heavily, fled, then returned to the scene, and now faces a possible four to twelve years in prison at sentencing in November.
