Four people are out of their Bellerose Terrace home after a house fire broke out Easter Sunday morning, fire officials say.

BELLEROSE TERRACE, NY — Four people are out of their home Monday after an electrical fire broke out at the two-story residence on 226th Street in Bellerose Terrace, fire officials said.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal's office said the Bellerose Terrace Fire Department responded to the blaze at 7:28 a.m. Sunday, receiving mutual aid from the Bellerose Village, Floral Park, New Hyde Park and Stewart Manor fire departments. In total, fire officials said there were about 40 firefighters on the scene, bringing the fire under control in about 40 minutes.

No injuries were reported during the fire, but the four residents of the home were displaced, fire officials said. Bellerose Terrace Fire Department officials determined the fire had been caused by an electrical fire in the house's wall, fire officials said.
