Best Buddies Enjoy a Winter Wonderland in NHP

The New Hyde Park Memorial High School Best Buddies chapter had a successful turnout at the group’s Winter Wonderland event earlier this month.

Best Buddies are a group of volunteers who create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

For NHP’s chapter, more than 50 students attended the Best Buddies Winter Wonderland event on Feb. 4 where students enjoyed arts and crafts, games, snacks and music. Everyone had a great time and is looking forward to the group’s next event.
