Dealertrack Technologies, a computer software firm, is relocating its Lake Success headquarters to North Hills, making a commitment to remain in New York.

The company had been wooed to move to Texas, Utah, Florida, New Jersey and South Carolina, but an economic development package approved by the Nassau Industrial Development Agency this week enticed the company to stay on Long Island.

Part of the deal includes millions of dollars in tax breaks from Nassau County, which will reduce the mortgage recording tax by up to $1 million, Nassau officials said. The company will also receive a $5.7 million sales tax exemption as well as a 19-year property tax break.

The $112 million project will create 357 new jobs, retain 367 jobs, and provide a more than $3 billion boost to the Nassau County economy, officials said.

Dealertrack will construct a new 233,000-square-foot building at 3400 New Hyde Park Road. The project is also receiving an incentive package from Empire State Development, New York State’s chief economic development agency.

Construction is expected to take two years and is expected to create 552 full-time-equivalent construction jobs.
