Duo Who Broke Into, Vandalized New Hyde Park Office Property Still At Large, Police Say
Police reported a Saturday burglary in which two men broke into the property and damaged it. The duo, police say, are still at large.
NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A duo who broke into and vandalized a New Hyde Park office property are still at large Tuesday morning after being reported just after 5 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Nassau County police said they received reports of a burglary at the Marcus Avenue property at 5:08 p.m. Saturday, with the building’s property manager calling in after finding two unknown men had entered the building and damaged some property. After entering and damaging items inside, the men fled the building, police said.
Police described one man as wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, gray sandals, a black mask and a black bike helmet. The other man, police said, wore a black jacket, a brown shirt, gray sweatpants, gray sandals and a black bike helmet.
