Elderly Woman Robbed at Knifepoint in Great Neck Plaza
The robbery occurred Sunday morning, police said.

An 88-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint by two men on Sunday morning in Great Neck Plaza, police said.
According to authorities, the woman was walking to a local store on South Middle Neck Road near Schenck Avenue when two men approached her, pointed a small knife at her waist and demanded money at 11:30 a.m.
The woman handed over her wallet, which contained a small amount of cash and forms of identification, police said.

The men ran away from the scene southbound on South Middle Neck Road, police said.
The woman was not injured from the robbery.

Police described the two men as 18-20 years old and 5-foot-8-inches tall. One man was described as Hispanic and the other man’s race is unknown.
