Herricks, Sewanhaka, NHP-GCP Public Schools Closed Tuesday

Schools in the Herricks, Sewanhaka and New Hyde Park-Garden City Park school districts will be closed Tuesday due to the predicted blizzard conditions, district officials have announced.

From the Herricks UFSD website:

Due to the blizzard warning, which forecasts periods of heavy snow and high winds beginning tonight through tomorrow, the Herricks School District will be closed on Tuesday, March 14th . All after-school and evening activities and events will also be cancelled tomorrow. Please stay safe in the storm. Thank you. Fino M. Celano, Ed. D. Superintendent of Schools

As the result of the predicted blizzard conditions on Tuesday, the District will be closed tomorrow for both daytime and evening events, Tuesday, March 14th. Once again, the District will be closed on Tuesday, March 14th and there will be no transportation available.
