Man Pulls Out Gun During LIE Road Rage Incident
Police are investigating the incident that occurred in Roslyn Heights on Monday afternoon.

Authorities are investigating a road rage incident that led to a man pointing a black handgun at another driver on the Long Island Expressway in Roslyn Heights on Monday afternoon, police said.
A 25-year-old man was driving eastbound on the LIE with his family when police said he became involved in a road rage incident with another male driver, who pulled in front of his vehicle and applied his brakes at 3 p.m.
When the man pulled into the HOV lane to pass the 2008-9 black Honda Civic, the aggressive driver rolled down his window, pointed a black gun at the other driver and then fled the scene.

The driver of the Honda was described as a white male in his late 20’s with red hair. The vehicle, a four-door sedan with tinted windows, had a Jets sticker in the rear window with yellow New York registration plates.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this menacing incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
