Manor Oaks kindergarteners graduated on June 13, moving up to numbered grade school in the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park School District.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY—Manor Oaks School kindergarteners in the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park School District closed out the first year of their elementary school careers when the school held its Kindergarten Graduation on June 13, the district announced.

The “Forever Friends”-themed ceremony was highlighted by the youngsters sharing personal stories about friendship, including how to always be there for each other, and that the circle of friendship has no end. The students also sang several songs, such as “Ease on Down the Road,” “Forever Friends,” “God Bless the U.S.A.” and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”

During each musical selection, the kindergarteners danced to routines choreographed by their teachers.
