Manor Oaks Students Create Recycled Art
Some students in the New Hyde Park-Garden City Park school district entered their work in North Hempstead's recycled art contest.
Manor Oaks students in Jenna Caputo’s art class created a sculpture made of recycled materials in New Hyde Park.
They were encouraged to create the sculpture so that it represented an everyday object. Students also created characters and animals. Some of the works were entered in the town of North Hempstead’s annual recycled art contest.
