Nassau Police Plan Closures For New Hyde Park St. Patrick's Day Parade
Closures will start at 9 a.m. and last until 12:30 p.m., Nassau police said.
NEW HYDE PARK, NY — Nassau police are advising motorists that there will be road closures in New Hyde Park on Saturday during the St. Patrick's Day parade, causing traffic delays and requiring detours.
It will run from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., but the closures will start at around 9 a.m. and last until around 12:30 p.m.
The closures include Jericho Turnpike from Hillside Boulevard to Terrace Boulevard and Covert Avenue northbound at First Avenue.

The closures will also include New Hyde Park Road at Jericho Turnpike, which will be closed in all directions. New Hyde Park Road northbound and southbound traffic will also not be permitted to cross over Jericho Turnpike from either direction.
