New Hyde Memorial High School Ranked Among Best Middle Schools in State

Niche.com has released its rankings of public middle schools across the country and a middle school in the Sewanhaka Central High School District made the list of the top 100 in New York.

New Hyde Park Memorial High School, which consists of students grades 7 to 12, came in at No. 85 among middle schools in the state with an overall Niche grade of A-.

Nearby, Herricks Middle School was ranked as No. 25 with a Niche grade of A+.

Wheatley School in the East Williston School District was ranked No. 38 with a Niche Grade of A.

Niche says it ranked 19,710 middle schools nationwide based on key student statistics and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents.
