New Hyde Park Bluedevils 15U Still Undefeated

The New Hyde Park Bluedevils (15 U) team extended their winning streak to 7 games with a 12-2 win over the Long Island Tribe in Manhasset.

Mike Thornton got the win and pitched 5 strong innings, allowing 2 runs, 4 hits  and getting 6 strikeouts. After allowing the Tribe to take a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, the Bluedevils plated three in the first, four in the second and five in the fifth for the final score of 12-2.

Anthony Millan, Niko Rullo each scored 3 runs. Kyle Cajigas and Brandon LaFroscia each scored two runs. Anthony Pomara drove in 4 runs with 3 hits and Dylan Savarese had 3 walks and 2 RBI's.

Ray Close drove in a run and caught a great game plus Vincent Balletta played a stellar right field battling the sun. Doug Obidienzo drilled two long hits and scored a run.

The NHP Bluedevils record now stands at 7-0.
