New Hyde Park Bluedevils Win Streak Stands at Six

The New Hyde Park Bluedevils (15U), extended their winning streak to six games with a 10-1 victory over the East Williston Wildcats. Kyle Cajigas pitched a strong game going 8 innings allowing one run and 5 hits. Cajigas struck out a season-high 16 batters over his 8 innings of work. Doug Obidienzo pitched the ninth, fanning two of the three batters he faced.

On offense it was truly a team effort: Dylan Savarese, Niko Rullo & John Hayes all scored two runs each. Rullo and Mike Thornton each had three hits to lead the 13 hit attack on the Wildcats.

Brandon LaFroscia, Anthony Pomara & Cajigas all scored for the Bluedevils. Vincent Balletta added a hit and played strong defense in right, while Raymond Close caught the entire 9 innings and added two hits on offense for the Bluedevils.
