New Hyde Park FBLA Wins

From the Sewanhaka Central High School District: The New Hyde Park Memorial High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America attended the 55th annual FBLA Spring Leadership Conference in Binghamton, New York, from April 10-12.

At the meeting, four New Hyde Park students competed against other students from across New York State in various business-related competitions. The students competed in performance events as well as team and individual events.

The results of the competition are as follows:

Third Place
Aarman Jivraj – Impromptu Speaking
Katherine Procacci – Journalism

Fourth Place
Aarman Jivraj and Katherine Procacci – Marketing

Fifth Place
Leopold Horne – Organizational Leadership
Jacqueline Moglia – Word Processing

In addition, Katherine received a ribbon for the Connecting with Careers Challenge competition.
