New Hyde Park Fundraiser for Boy, 10, With Fatal Genetic Disorder
Residents can spare some change for a good cause.

Members of the community will be able to support a 10-year-old boy who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at an upcoming fundraiser.
Ty Patrick Flood’s fatal genetic disorder has caused his mother Beth to leave her job to take care of Ty and his younger sisters.
Taking care of Ty with his condition is not only expensive, but it’s also a physical burden.
