From New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Union Free School District: The New Hyde Park-Garden City Park Union Free School District announced that Andrew Scimeca is its new director of facilities and transportation, effective Dec. 9.
Scimeca, a Mastic resident who has more than 12 years of experience working for school districts, previously served as the custodial supervisor for the Connetquot Central School District for four years. “I’m excited to join the team and be a part of the district,” said Scimeca.
