New Hyde Park’s Average Credit Score is No. 6 on Long Island

If the average credit score of New Hyde Park residents were a grade, it would be an A+.

According to a WalletHub analysis, New Hyde Park is in the 97 percentile nationwide of the 2,534 communities surveyed.

The community has an average credit score of 733.07, making it the No. 79 highest credit score in the nation and No. 6 on Long Island. Nearby Floral Park was ranked No. 13 on Long Island with an average credit score of 726.93.

The Villages, FL ranked as No. 1 in the United States with an average 778.77 credit score. Pittsford in Monroe County has the highest credit score average in New York with a No. 9 national ranking of 748.35.

The Long Island towns of Syosset and Plainview are nationally ranked No. 23 and No. 24, respectfully.
