During her session with the third and fourth graders, Raimondo passed out posterboards that the first and second graders had already started decorating. The boards had positive messages such as “fun,” “joy,” “friendship” and “kindness.” The students were asked to add their own decorations to the boards, which would then be completed at the end of the day by the fifth and sixth graders.
Raimondo will take inspiration from the students’ boards to create a design for the mural for Manor Oaks. The goal of the mural project is to create an image of unity.
