New Hyde Park Student-Artist Receives Award Of Merit
Congrats to Emily Yuan on her artistic award!
NEW HYDE PARK, NY - From Sewanhaka Central High School District: New Hyde Park Memorial High School senior Emily Yuan has been selected as a Long Island Scholar-Artist Program Award of Merit recipient for 2018-19 school year. Each year the Long Island Scholar-Artist Program, sponsored by the Long Island Arts Alliance, recognizes students who excel academically and in music, visual arts, dance, theater or media arts.
Emily was nominated for the contest by art teacher Danielle Livoti. Ms. Livoti also assisted Emily through the application process.
