NHP Chamber Raises Funds for Wounded Warriors

The money will help support wounded soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines.

The New Hyde Park Fire Department held their annual fundraiser and auction to benefit the Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior.

The event, held Saturday, Nov. 19, raised money that helps purchase phone cards, clothing, rehab and therapy equipment for the wounded soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines at Walter Reed National Medical Center, US Army Post Fort Bragg and MCB Camp Lejuene.

The NHP Chamber Benevolence Fund made a $1,000 donation.
