NHP Fire Dept Donates $1K to Support Injured Combat Veterans

All funds will go directly to purchasing items for injured service members.

The New Hyde Park Fire Department donated $1,000 to support our nation’s injured combat veterans at the department’s Annual Auction Fundraiser for Operation Wounded Warrior which was held on Saturday.

All of the proceeds will go directly to purchasing items for injured service men and women.

These items will be personally delivered by members of the New Hyde Park Fire Department and other Nassau County fire departments during their annual trip to Camp Lejeune, Fort Bragg and Walter Reed Hospitals in December.
