Best Buddies is a program where mainstream and special education students spend time getting to know each other after school.

Students in New Hyde Park Memorial High School’s Best Buddies program enjoyed a potluck dinner on Nov. 3. Students, parents and teachers donated delicious food for the event.
The Best Buddies program is a national program where special education students are paired up with mainstream students and spend time getting to know one another during and after school. They also participate in various activities together throughout the year.
