Voters Approve Sewanhaka School Budget
Residents headed to the polls Tuesday to vote on a school budget and elect board members.

Sewanhaka residents approved a 2017-18 school budget on Tuesday.
The $193,070,535 budget passed by a 73 percent margin, according to the school district.
- Yes votes- 3,507 (73 percent)
- No votes- 1,295 (27 percent)
The budget is a 4.85 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 4.8 percent tax levy increase.
