Shake Shack Heading to New Hyde Park

The popular chain will be serving up gourmet burgers, crinkle fries, frozen custards and more.

Shake Shack, restaurateur Danny Meyer’s fast-growing burger chain, will open a new location at the Lake Success Shopping Center in New Hyde Park.

Known for its gourmet burgers, crinkle fries, frozen custards and more, Shake Shack plans to open in late 2015.

Shake Shack plans to take over the site once home to Deli King, a Town of North Hempstead spokeswoman. The burger chain already has an outlet in Westbury.

We are thrilled to bring another Shack to Long Island in Lake Success,” Shake Shack’s Director of Marketing Edwin Bragg told Newsday. “Westbury has been a great spot for us, and we look forward to building another community gathering place in the area.”

Shake Shack lists locations in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Washington DC, as well sites that include London, Moscow, Kuwait City, Dubai, Doha and Abu Dhabi.
