Nassau County 7-Eleven Robbed At Gunpoint, Police Say
BREAKING: The robbery happened around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Nassau County police said.
STEWART MANOR, NY — Police are searching for a masked man who robbed a 7-Eleven store at gunpoint in Stewart Manor and made off with cash. The armed man entered the store near Covert and Tulip avenues around 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Nassau County police said. The store is located across the street from Sewanhaka High School.
Investigators said he walked up to the male store clerk, pulled out a black handgun and demanded cash. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of bills and the robber fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
No one was hurt.

Police described the perpetrator as a white man standing 5-feet-7-inches tall and having a medium build. He was wearing a black long-sleeve jacket, black pants, black sneakers, a black mask covering his face and glasses.
