Swastikas Found Spray Painted on Sidewalk, Trees in Nassau County
The symbols were discovered Tuesday morning, police say.
Police are looking to identify the person or persons who spray painted a swastika on the sidewalk in front of a Stewart Manor home Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, the swastika was found in front of a Stewart Avenue home in green-colored paint at 9:30 a.m.
Additional swastikas and smiley faces were spray painted on trees and utility poles in the area of the home, police say.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
