Teen Who Committed String of Thefts From Vehicles Arrested in New Hyde Park: Police
The 16-year-old was also charged with an attempted burglary, police say.

A Queens teenager arrested Saturday morning in New Hyde Park was found to be responsible for an attempted burglary and a string of several thefts from cars, police say.
Authorities responded to a report of a suspicious male entering a yard in Hillside Boulevard in at 3:12 a.m. to eventually locate Mykai T. Bullock, of Jamaica, on Brown Place, police say.
An investigation revealed that Bullock was suspected of committing several larcenies from vehicles and an attempted burglary on Thursday, Oct. 20 in Mineola, police say.

He was arrested at the scene without incident.
Bullock was charged with second-degree burglary (attempt), fourth-degree grand larceny, eight counts of petty larceny and four counts of petty larceny (attempt).

The teen was arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
The investigation is ongoing.
