Temple Tikvah hosted its annual community Thanksgiving service days after our country’s citizens elected a president who, in large part, ran a base and crude campaign which sowed hate and divisiveness.
“After the election, which revealed such deep fissures in our nation, I think it is particularly meaningful that we come together as a diverse, multifaith community and shine a beacon of hope in dark times. EVERYONE is welcome to attend and rekindle hope,” said Rabbi Randy Sheinberg of Temple Tikvah. Local clergy, the preachers and teachers of our community, came to Temple Tikvah to fulfill the annual tradition of coming together in a house of worship to express gratitude and to demonstrate their commitment to inclusiveness and civility.
Temple Tikvah is a dynamic and inclusive Reform congregation. From young families, to seniors, to singles to interfaith and same-sex couples, all are welcome to take part in a spiritual environment where joy and personal connections flourish.
