Thief Steals $2,500 From Checking Account in New Hyde Park: Police

Police are looking to identify the man who stole thousands of dollars from another person's checking account in New Hyde Park in October.

According to authorities, the man use another person's identity to withdraw $2,500 worth of cash from their checking account at Bank of America, located at 1600 Hillside Ave., on Thursday, Oct. 13.

The man, who is wanted for identity theft, fled the scene in an unknown direction.
