"Time" for her debut at Sacred Heart Academy

Hannah Rasheed, a New Hyde park resident and sophomore at Sacred Heart Academy, stars as Cogsworth in the school’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. This is Hannah’s first play at Sacred Heart; however, having participated in plays at Notre Dame, she is no stranger to the stage. Hannah maintains a varied course load that includes honors classes in American Literature and Chemistry. Her interest in the sciences are further developed through her participation in the Women in Health and Medicine Club at Sacred Heart Academy where she is able to investigate the wide range of biomedical and healthcare careers. She says, “Sacred Heart has amazing opportunities for everyone to further their interests in just about every area.” Hannah is a service-minded young women who regularly volunteers at North Shore LIJ Hospital and Herricks Summer Recreation Camp. She is also a member of the SHA spring track and field team.

Hannah Rasheed ’19 and Maggie Lynch ’18 will play the role of Cogsworth on alternate dates.
