Trio Caused $28K in Damage at Tully Park: Police
Police say the men forced open the gates and caused destruction inside the park Thursday morning.

Three men forced open the gates of Michael J. Tully Park in New Hyde Park on Thursday morning and caused $28,000 worth of damage inside the park, police say.
According to authorities, the men entered Tully Park, located at 1801 Evergreen Ave., and caused damage to the booth at the entrance of the park when they attempted to enter it at 1:45 a.m.
The men then approached three school buses parked in the parking lot area and broke windows, caused flat tires and damaged the buses’ stop signs and safety equipment, police say.
