
Police are searching for two men who robbed a bank in New Hyde Park on Friday afternoon.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, the men entered Valley National Bank located at 699 Hillside Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. and each passed a demand note to tellers.
The tellers complied and handed over an undetermined amount of cash. The men fled on foot westbound on Hillside Avenue, police said.

The first robber is described as white, in his 40s, 6-feet, facial hair, wearing a gray baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a gray T-shirt, a red long sleeved shirt, dark pants and gloves.
The second robber is described as white, in his 40s, wearing a gray baseball cap, gold framed bifocal glasses, a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and gloves.

There were seven employees in the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
Detectives are requesting that anyone with information regarding the robbery call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
