Vintage Restaurant Starting to Get Regulars
The newly-opened restaurant features food that is Italian "with a touch of American."
Vintage Restaurant Bar and Grill, located on Jericho Turnpike, has recently opened its doors to the community.
The restaurant, which owner Mike Izzo calls "Italian with a touch of American," focuses on unique and original dishes that Izzo has cultivated throughout his 15 years in the industry.
Entrees, which range from $20 to $25, include plates like homemade pastas, pizza, and sweet and spicy wings. Appetizers and salads cost about $8 to $12. The restaurant also offers a daily pasta special for $6.99. It also features a full bar separated from the main dining area.

"We focus on quality and freshness," Izzo said. "I would never serve a customer something that I wouldn't want to eat myself!"
Though the restaurant has only been open for about two months, Izzo says they are already turning customers from the neighborhood into regulars.

“Sometimes I stop by for lunch; sometimes my wife and I come for dinner,” said Aaron Rogers of New Hyde Park. “I keep coming back because every time, it’s a great experience.”
Paul Blonder, of Huntington, has also already visited the restaurant several times and says he will continue returning "without a doubt."
"Good beer, good service, good food," Blonder said. "What else do you need?"
