Westy Self Storage Supports Intense Intestines Foundation

Westy Self Storage supports Intense Intestines Foundation, a non-profit organization helping those with Crohn’s disease and Colitis. Westy Self Storage in Lake Success is pleased to host a donation drive, as well as provide a storage unit where the group will house and organize the items collected. This drive will run through June 18.

The Intense Intestines Foundation’s mission is to help patients in their journey with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and ostomies by connecting, supporting and educating those with inflammatory bowel disease and their loves ones by promoting a healthy lifestyle. Through this donation drive, items will be given to Carecycle Inc who will donate 20 cents per pound collected. These funds will go directly to support Intense Intestines Foundation programs such as: Intense Intestines IBDebt, Intense Intestines Scholarship, Beyond the Bathroom Awareness for IBD, Total IBD Health, Take that IBD project, Never Stay Quiet videos and more.

Items for collection include gently worn clothes, shoes, handbags, as well as linens, small toys and stuffed animals. Please join our collection efforts and drop off a donation at Westy Self Storage in Lake Success located at 2400 Marcus Avenue, next to the Shoprite Shopping Center.
