1 Out of 4 Sanders Supporters Won't Vote for Clinton in November

The New York primary is April 19.

A new poll from McClatchy-Marist shows that 25 percent of Bernie Sanders supporters would not vote for Hillary Clinton in the general election.

The poll also has the senator from Vermont edging ahead of the former Secretary of State by 49-47, the mcclatchydc.com website said.

The number of Clinton supporters who would refuse to vote for Sanders is 14 percent, according to the poll.

Sanders pulled a sixth straight win over Clinton after coming in ahead in the Wisconsin primary Tuesday.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Clinton’s lead in the number of delegates needed to secure the Democratic nomination has been dented, said the New York Times.

Amy Chozick, writing for the paper of record, did say, however, that the loss highlights Clinton’s inability to connect with young and white working-class voters.
