14 Injured, 1 Critically In Bee-Line Bus Crash

BRONX, NY — A serious Bee-Line Bus crash has hospitalized 14 passengers and left a 65-year-old fighting for his life.
The number 4 bus which runs between Yonkers and Bedford Park in the Bronx hit a subway support pole in the Norwood section of the Bronx, according to officials. The crash involved at least two other vehicles. The bus driver is said to have also been injured in the collision.
The injured were taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.

The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. under the MTA subway tracks near Jerome Avenue and East 213 Street. The bus was on its way back to Westchester from the Bronx.
Prior to the crash, two cars collided, sending one of the vehicles into the bus and then the bus into the pillar, according to a report from ABC News New York.
