17-Year-Old Arrested In Connection With Weekend Stabbing: NRPD
New Rochelle police said the 18-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest around 7 a.m. Saturday & is in critical, but stable condition.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A 17-year-old is in custody this morning after police say he stabbed another teenager in a parking lot on Lincoln Avenue.
New Rochelle police were called to the scene of a stabbing in the parking lot of 33 Lincoln Ave. just after 7 a.m. on Saturday. An 18-year-old male New Rochelle resident was found bleeding from his chest and unconscious. Officers began administering emergency first aid and the victim was rushed to the hospital where he remains in critical, but stable condition, according to police.
Police said the name of the victim is not being released at this time.

Detectives later arrested the 17-year-old from Yonkers in connection with the stabbing. Because he is a juvenile, the name of the teenager arrested is not being released.
Police officials say the investigation into the violent incident is continuing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the New Rochelle Police Department at 914-654-2300.
