2 New Rochelle Restaurant Week Participants Within Walking Distance from Train

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is just around the corner, and if you want the convenience of taking mass transit to a restaurant in New Rochelle, there are two participating restaurants within walking distance from the Metro North Railroad stop.

All three Metro North lines can be used to get to about 100 restaurants participating in the two-week dining event, which runs from Nov. 1 through Nov. 13.

Organizers said most of the restaurants are within a 10-minute walk from the train.

Janet Crawshaw, publisher of The Valley Table magazine, said the Hudson Valley is home to some of the best chefs in America.

“We are delighted to partner with MTA Metro-North to invite people throughout the New York Metro area to discover the culinary pleasures of the region,” she said.

Diners can partake of a three-course lunch for $20.95 or a three-course dinner for $29.95, excluding tax, drinks and gratuity.

The restaurants in New Rochelle that are easy walks from the train station on the New Haven Line are:

• Carlo's Italian Restaurant
• Dubrovnik Restaurant
