2019 Holiday Shipping Deadlines For NY: UPDATE
Deadlines are approaching for FedEx, U.S. Postal Service and UPS in New York during the 2019 holiday season, and some have passed.
Few things are more disappointing during the holiday season than packages that don’t arrive on time, and gift-givers in New York will want to pay attention to the upcoming shipping deadlines from the U.S. Postal Service, FedEx and UPS.
Some deadlines have already come and gone, including first-class and priority international mail and military mail.
The U.S. Postal Service has projected that it will ship 800 million packages between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day in 2019. Seasonal workers are hired for the increased workload, and the Postal Service expanded Sunday delivery beginning Nov. 24.
