Of the 50 top cities, New Rochelle is the only one from Westchester County to make the list.

New Rochelle has been named the 13th best city in which to live, according to the financial website 24/7 Wall St.
The city receives high marks for its ”beautiful coastline” and proximity to Westchester County’s great amenities, such as golf courses and restaurants. But it also takes a bit of a hit because the high cost of living and the expensive housing market.
“One of the most attractive aspects of the city may be its access to amenities. Westchester County has 47 golf clubs. The county also has many restaurants and drinking establishments,” writes 24/7 Wall St. “However, New Rochelle is pricy. The cost of living in the city is among the highest nationwide. Additionally, the median home value was nearly $550,000, among the most expensive reviewed.”
