3 Indicted In Shooting Death, Robbery Of Greenburgh Man
The man was shot and killed in the stairwell of the apartment building where two of the accused men lived.

GREENBURGH, NY — Three teens were indicted in the shooting death of a man in August in a Greenburgh apartment building. Brothers Trevon Major, 16, and Vance Major, 18, as well as Timothy Whitney, 19, were charged in the death and robbery of Joseph Smith III of Greenburgh.
Trevon Major faces a first-degree manslaughter charge, and Vance Major and Whitney are looking at weapons and robbery charges, the Journal News said.
They are expected to be arraigned Wednesday, Dec. 20.

Smith was shot and killed Aug. 17 in the stairwell of an apartment building located at 100 Manhattan Ave., which is where the Majors lived. A gun was found in their apartment during a search.
