3rd Stabbing In A Week Involving New Rochelle HS Students
The high school is on lockout Thursday.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — After a third stabbing within the last week, New Rochelle High School is on lockout Thursday. A 16-year-old student was stabbed in the school Thursday, twice in his left torso, and a 15-year-old suspect was seen on video leaving the building.
The wounds are non-life-threatening, News 12 said.
On Wednesday, a 15-year-old student was at Gemelli Pizzeria which is near the school on North Avenue.

He was ordering food and was stabbed on his hand, though police could not immediately ascertain how he received the injury, the Journal News said.
On Jan. 10, Valaree Schwab, 16, a New Rochelle High School student, was fatally stabbed twice in the Dunkin’ Donuts on North Avenue across from Iona College.

Z’Inah Brown, 16, also a student at the high school, was arrested the next day and charged with second-degree murder.
