4-Year-Old Autistic Boy Fell From Unknown Height In New Rochelle
The parents flagged down New Rochelle police officers at their apartment complex to report their son was missing.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle Police Department is investigating an incident where a 4-year-old child possibly fell from an apartment building.
Parents of a 4-year-old autistic boy flagged down New Rochelle police officers at their apartment complex located at 570 5th Avenue and told them their son was missing, and possibly wandered from their apartment.
Officers began to search for the boy and then located him behind 570 5th Avenue lying on the grass, unconscious with difficulty breathing. Officers rendered first aid until the New Rochelle Fire Department and ambulance personnel arrived to take him to the hospital.

The boy is currently listed as being in critical but stable condition. New Rochelle detectives are investigating the incident and the parents are cooperating with the investigation.
It appears the boy fell from an unknown height and the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
